" A Way of Seeing" & SplashSplash is an Art Photography learning tool, initially being developed, for children, with workshops, at present, offered free to yr 6 students within schools settings. The workshops include multi-media presentations, written and published materials, group and individual tuition. The project includes mulit-media presentations covering Introduction - The eye and the camera, Photography as art, Photography as a base for digital art projects, types of photographer, photography and media, Creative & Technical skills balance SPLASH - The SPLASH Learning Tool, excersises to explain the concept of SPLASH Getting to know your camera - interactive multi-media and written publication help students to identify parts of the camera and what function they serve. Composition - with discussion of OXO as a way of working simple thirds composition and examples of images using this and other methods of composition Light and Shadow - Light and shadow is explored while encouraging children to consider light both artificial and daylight.
SPLASH is a learning tool that my Husband Philip authored. Philip has worked with all age groups as a health care professional both within the NHS and Voluntary sectors.

| How We Work An Ethical Approach to Photography Art & Education We believe that the concepts and skills we offer young people will drive their development in an easy to understand fun and interesting way.
We also believe that introducing insight of art, photography and digital graphic manipulation at an early age will help to introduce students to skills that they may take into many aspects of their personal, educational and eventual adult lives.
